Politics and Preppers will be at the Come and Take it open carry march in Temple, Texas
This is what we have talked about on the podcast from time to time out of control Police that think they are the law and whatever they say is the law. MSgt Grisham was stopped and then arrested because some passerby reported something legal was happening.
In the video you will find some chilling statements made by the officers. Apparently this officer thinks he is exempt from the law and we are guilty until proven otherwise! He also seems to think the gun laws that allow MSgt CJ Grisham to legally carry a weapon don’t apply in this “day and age”. Just by some of his statements alone he should not be a police officer in any city in the USA. I think if I was the MSgt. I would sue the heck out of him and after recovering the monies he will no doubt be out on lawyers and legal fee’s then settle for just one thing. The officers involved would be fired and never be allowed to work in law enforcement ever.
” I am an active duty Master Sergeant and veteran of Iraq (2003) and Afghanistan (2011). I’m a concealed handgun license holder in several states and Second Amendment advocate. I have never in my life been charged with a crime. I live in the country and love to shoot. I strongly believe in the Constitution and the rights guaranteed by it. When I joined the military in 1994, I took the oath with pride and meant every word I uttered as I raised my right hand to the square.
On March 16, 2013, I was out hiking with my 15-year old son through back country roads in Bell County to help him earn his hiking merit badge, the only badge he lacked to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. Halfway through our hike, I was illegally arrested and disarmed without cause. The officers refused to explain what crime I had committed and why I was being detained and disarmed. When the supervisor arrived on scene, he conferred with the arresting officer and they agreed to arrest me for “resisting search.” read more here you can also donate to the MSgt.s legal fund.
I was thrown in jail for over ten hours and my lawfully owned weapons were confiscated without receipt or notice. I also had my concealed handgun licenses confiscated when my wallet was illegally searched, preventing me from being able to defend myself in public.
This shouldn’t happen in the United States of America, much less the State of Texas.”
I see the charge is now ”rudely displaying a firearm” I’m no lawyer but from what I can find this law does not exist.
