The ROLLYPOLY Folding Bug Out Bag is another ROLLYPOLY model which Maxpedition designed as an ultra-light backpack, allowing you to avoid the burden and weight of a full-size backpack. Just like the ROLLYPOLY EXTREME Bug Out Bag, it can be rolled up into a small pouch. This is one great feature about it. It can easily be kept out of the way until such time that it is needed. Also, this choice of pack makes an excellent bug out bag as it allows you to move quickly without getting worn-out. This very transportable pack is a tough choice; it does not wear out easily.

Of the two models of ROLLY POLY, the Folding Bug Out Bag is the smaller one. When folded, it only measures 4.5” x 4.5” 2”. And true to its purpose as an ultra-light backpack, it only weighs 8 oz. when empty. When not unrolled, it is a relatively small package which you can easily attach to your belt or other backpack.

When unfolded, the ROLLYPOLY Folding B.O.B. provides you a 16” x 11” x 2” main compartment. At its base is a drainage grommet. It can carry up to 350 cubic inches of gears. However, the gussets near its base can expand to a certain limit depending on the stuff that you put into it. It can be liken to a grocery bag which expands when filled. It also has an inner pocket for your other smaller items. The zippered inner pocket measures 7” x 5”.

The durable shoulder straps of ROLLYPOLY Folding Bug Out Bag are adjustable and are 3/4” webbing. When pulled in opposite directions at the top, the shoulder straps would also serve to cinch the opening of the top. The top flap will be used to close the top opening when the Folding Bug Out Bag is unfolded. When the backpack is rolled up, the top flap is the one that keeps it folded. This great choice of backpack can also accommodate up to 100 oz of hydration reservoir.

The body of Folding Bug Out Bag is made up of a durable backpack material. Fold-able and lightweight 420-denier coated nylon fabric is used. Its base is made up of the abrasion-resistant 1000-denier coated nylon fabric. This makes the ROLLYPOLY Bug Out Bag ultra-light in weight and yet extremely tough when used. It also comes with an integral closed loop which can fit up to 3.5” belt.
